Dana Andrews

Section Delegate - Past President

Dana was born in Ohio, but was raised in Jacksonville, Florida. She studied Political Science at the University of Georgia, while also playing tennis on scholarship. After graduating, she attended Cumberland Law School and has been an attorney since 1985. Since tennis had been a massive part of her life, she wanted to stay involved so she started volunteering. She began serving on the Junior Competition Committee and then as the Grievance Chair, before becoming a Board Member.

She was the USTA Florida Board of Directors President for 2021-2022 and has made a massive impact in the community. She is a passionate advocate for growing women in tennis and has been a leader in expanding the organization’s focus on DEI outreach and public parks. By serving, it gives Dana an opportunity to give back to an organization that has given so much to her family over 3 generations and to continue to encourage others to engage in a sport for a lifetime.

In her free time, Dana loves to run on the treadmill, watch tennis and the Georgia Bulldogs football team, as well as spending time with her family and friends. You can also catch Dana serving the homeless on Saturday mornings.
