The USTA Florida Leadership Academy is an opportunity for Florida residents who are passionate about tennis to learn more about the organization and open up new opportunities to expand their organizational competencies and service opportunities. Graduates of previous classes have served on USTA Florida and USTA Florida Section Foundation project teams, boards and committees. If you have a passion for promoting tennis in your community, this opportunity is for you!
Our 2023-2024 Leadership Academy Cohort will include up to 25 individuals who meet the following criteria:
- You must be 18 years of age or older and a current resident of Florida to apply.
- Tennis experience or knowledge is NOT required, but we need you to be passionate about serving the tennis industry.
- The Academy includes two in-person workshops in Orlando: Nov. 12, 2023, and April 12-15, 2024. There will be a series of online learning modules in between workshops and virtual meetings that cohort participants are required to attend.
- Application deadline is August 25, 2023.
- Those accepted will receive additional information in early September.
