Through our various diversity initiatives, we work with providers to create a welcoming environment, where players of all backgrounds and experiences can participate in the sport of a lifetime. There are grant and scholarship opportunities with the USTA for tennis programs that serve to develop player of ethnic or racially diverse backgrounds, low-income junior players seeking to use their tennis backgrounds to secure a college education, and more.

Diversity Camps

USTA Florida’s Diversity Camps provide a one-of-a-kind experience for junior competitive players ages 13 through 18, who want to improve as tennis players and learn about college scholarships, tournaments, and physical training.  It’s a special opportunity to train hard, have fun, and form lasting friendships.

New in 2015! We are hosting three one-day camps in different parts of the state.  Youth players wishing to apply should be in the top 450 on the Florida Standings List and a have strong commitment to play college tennis.  Registration is now open!  Register early to secure your spot.

Tenis Para Todos

Tenis Para Todos is USTA Florida’s outreach initiative which is focused on bringing tennis to more Hispanic families in Central and South Florida.  Efforts include education through workshops for coaches and facilities, tennis festivals, grant and scholarship assistance, a spanish language website, and more!
